AniAmes Quest

Quest Rules:

Pick up your quest card along with your attendee badge and start completing different objectives to score prize tickets! You can spend these directly at the Prize Shop in the vendor hall on your choice of hundreds of items. If you need help with any of the quests or have questions about how to complete each item, ask a Staff Member or visit the Prize Shop for more information!

“Quest Complete” Bonus:

Once you complete 10 or more quests, you can spin the prize wheel at the Prize Shop for a chance to earn even more goodies or tickets!

Quest Rules PDF

Social Quests

  • Follow the “Anime Ames” page on Facebook or @ani_ames on Instagram. Use your phone or smart device to show the Prize Shop attendants proof that you’re following both or either page to complete this quest.

  • Show staff that you are following a minimum of FIVE vendors or artists to earn a prize ticket, or follow EACH ONE to score a bonus ticket!

  • Make a post or share a picture from the convention and tag the AniAmes page or respective vendor/guest/artist to score another ticket.

Gaming Quests

  • Complete a course in Pokemon Snap, or take a 4-star photo. Alternatively, snap a photo with the lifesize Pokemon! Report to the Game Room staff.

  • Sign up for a Game Room tournament and earn a prize ticket after you complete your first round of games. You’ll earn more if you win 1st - 3rd place! Plus, check in for mini tournaments for games like Mario Party throughout the day.

  • Clear an old-school level or play a retro game mode on any of our classic consoles or PC set-ups. Report to Game Room staff once complete.

Fandom Quests

  • Scour the venue for hidden treasure! You may return ONE piece of treasure to the Prize Shop - get 1 ticket for bronze, 2 for silver, or 3 for gold.

  • Help keep the convention safe! If you find a demon hiding throughout the convention, grab a photo for the Prize Shop (or tell us where you saw it!)

  • Pokemon Trainers, show off your latest bug-type catch to the Prize Shop! You can catch them in Pokemon Go or ay Pokemon video game, open a a bug-type card from a TCG pack, or snap a photo of them in the Game Room!

  • Soot sprites are popping up in random rooms and panels! If you spot these cute critters, grab one of their stars and show it to the Prize Shop for a ticket.

Cosplay Quests

  • Dressed up for the day? Get a free ticket by telling us about your costume at the Staff or Prize Shop.

  • Earn a prize ticket for signing up for the cosplay contest!

  • Did your cosplay win an award or acknowledgement during the contest? Let the Prize Shop know what you earned for extra prize tickets based on placement!

General Quests

  • Join us for any panel; a volunteer will mark off your quest card!

  • Show off your artist/vendor purchase to the Prize Shop attendants.

  • Grab a picture of or with your favorite guest – or show off your newly autographed item! Share it with the Prize Shop attendants to earn a ticket.

  • Support the con and our venue partner – buy any drink from the beverage stand to earn a bonus prize ticket as our way of saying thanks!

  • Help keep the con running! You can make any level of donation by visiting the Staff Booth or Prize Shop and unlock a range of prize tickets based on the amount.
